"We enjoyed the food and drinks they served over dinner! the Ensaladang Talong compliments the Bangus with mango bites and the Beef Bulalo Staffs were busy but still attentive. But like the other comments here, they should smile more. It felt a little hostile while ordering and following up orders. Ambiance is quite unique for a province like Butuan so we’ll give it a 4/5 rating"

"The food is excellent. The Staff was very courteous. I ordered a cheeseburger with raw onion, raw tomato, mustard and ketchup. I was told that they were out of the regular burger, and they suggested the Hawaiian burger. So I ordered the Hawaiian burger minus the pineapple, lettuce, and special sauce, which would have been my original request. The burger was excellent, however, it came with the lettuce and 'special sauce". I've has lunch here twice. They have the best burgers I've had in the Philippines. They are not good with special orders."

"Before I left Butuan, I decided to eat "kinilaw" / ceviche one last time. I looked for a place to have lunch at SM City Butuan which was my last stop before flying out. And I was so glad I found this local restaurant. I enjoyed two servings of kinilaw at Verity. The other food we ordered were all good. I will try to go back there next time to pre-order their stuffed crab."

"We recently dined at Verity and ordered the Shrimp Cajun Pasta, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and Nachos. The Shrimp Cajun Pasta did not quite meet expectations in terms of flavor. The seasoning felt mild for a Cajun dish, and a richer, more robust taste could improve the overall experience. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich, for its price, was satisfactory but fairly simple. While the portion was decent, adding a more distinctive sauce, seasoning, or unique element could make it more memorable and better aligned with its price point. The nachos were acceptable and enjoyable, though they could also benefit from a bit more flavor or topping variety. In terms of service, there is room for improvement. We had to get our own menu and there was a noticeable delay before we were accommodated. A more attentive and proactive approach from the staff would greatly enhance the overall dining experience. Overall, Verity has potential, and with improvements in both flavor development and customer service efficiency, it could provide a more satisfying experience for guests."

"A Perfect Spot for a Family Dinner We chose this restaurant for our family dinner, and it turned out to be a great choice. We could chat and enjoy ourselves without worrying about disturbing other diners, which was a big plus. The ambiance of the restaurant was wonderful, with well-thought-out furnishings and a cozy interior that added to the overall experience. The food portions were just right, and every dish we ordered was delicious—everyone left satisfied. The staff were attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the evening. It was a memorable evening, and we’re thankful for the accommodating service. Definitely a place we’d consider coming back to for special occasions or even just a nice family meal."
